MEMORY VERSE:  "Remember The Sabbath Day, to keep it holy." Exodus 20: 8.

         1.  According to God’s time, which part of the day comes first? Genesis 1:5.  "And God called the light day, and the darkness He called night, and the __________ and thee morning were the first day." According to the Bible the day begins with the dark part or night time. The evening came first and then the morning.

         2.  When does The Sabbath begin? Leviticus 23:32. "It shall be unto you a sabbath of rest, and ye shall afflict your souls: in the ninth day of the month at even, from   __________ until __________, shall ye celebrate your _________." Notice in Genesis 1:8, 13,19,23,31. You notice that each day of creation, God said the evening and the morning was a day.

         3.  So when is evening? Mark 1:32. “And at ________, when the ________ did set...." According to “The Bible, The Seventh day of the week is the Sabbath so it would start at sundown or even on Friday and go to even on Saturday, but most christians today keep Sunday instead of God’s Sabbath. Someone must have changed it.  Read Genesis 2:1-4.

         4. Did Jesus change it?  Matthew 5:17. "Think not that I am come to destroy the law, or the prophets: I am ________ Come to ________, but to _________." Jesus came to this earth to uphold the law of God and this included the fourth commandment.

         5.  Then could it be that the apostles changed The Sabbath after Jesus returned to heaven? Acts 17:2 says, "Paul, as his manner was, went in unto them, and three __________ days __________ with them out of the scriptures."  So Paul was still observing the same Seventh day Sabbath long after the resurrection.  The truth is that the New Testament is silent about any change in the rest day. Paul does talk about the coming of a man of sin, an a falling away, from God.

         6.  What would this man of sin do? 2 Thessalonians 2:4.  "Who opposeth and    _______ Himself  __________ all that is called _________, or that is worshipped, so that _______ as _________ sitteth in the _________ of God, shewing himself that _______ is _______." Who do you know that claims to be God on earth and can forgive sins?

         7.  What did Daniel say about this great apostasy, that challenge God’s authority?  Daniel 7:25. "And he shall speak ________ ________ against “The Most High and shall wear out the saints of the Most High, and think to change  ______ and  _______...."

         8. In Revelation 14:6-12. We find here a message given by three angels; let us look at the First Angels message. Verse 7, "...Fear God, and give glory to him; for the hour of His judgment is come: and __________ Him that ________ __________, and __________, and the ___________, and the fountains of _________." We are told that we are to worship the one who created us and this world.

         9. The second angel’s message is in Revelation 14:8. "And here followed another angel, saying, Babylon is___________, is fallen, that Great City, because she made all nations drink of the wine of the wrath of her fornication.

         10.  Let us look at the third message in Revelation 14:9, 10. "And the third angel followed them, saying with a loud voice, if any man worship the _______  and his image, and receive his __________  in his forehead, or in his hand, the same shall drink of the wine of the wrath of God..." Here john has given the most solemn warning in all scripture, He is warning us against the worship of any other than the God who created this world and all that in it is.

         11. What will those who love God do? Revelation 14:12 “Here is the patience of the saints: here are they that keep the __________ of __________, and the faith of Jesus.

         12. How far will the enemy go in attempting to enforce the mark of the beast on man?  Revelation 13:15, 17.  "And he had ___________  ...  And cause that as many as   __________   _______   ________ the image of the beast should be _________."  Verse 17 “...And that no man might ________ or __________, save he that had the  ________,  or the  _________  of the ________, or the _________ of his name."

If you want more on the change of “The Sabbath” and
